Red Lion is 8-2 against New Oxford since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Red Lion Lions will take on the New Oxford Colonials at 7:30 p.m. Red Lion is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Saturday, Red Lion took their match with ease, bagging a 42-15 victory over Manheim Central. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Barons are ranked 183rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Red Lion to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julia Sedora, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 10 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Arlee Yerger, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, New Oxford lost to York Suburban on the road by a 53-36 margin last Friday.

New Oxford dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Red Lion, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Everything went Red Lion's way against New Oxford when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Red Lion made off with a 53-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Red Lion since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
