Softball Recap: Lutheran South Comes Up Short

Lutheran South managed to slip by Parkway Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lancers lost 11-1 to the Colts on Friday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lutheran South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Parkway Central, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lutheran South will head out to face off against Westminster Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Lancers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Parkway Central, they will challenge Ritenour at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
