Basketball Recap: Lititz Christian Comes Up Short

Lititz Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Dayspring Christian Academy Warriors an easy 48-27 win. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in February.

Despite the loss, Lititz Christian still got an impressive performance from Emma Christner, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards.

Lititz Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Covenant Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Dayspring Christian Academy will head out to face Covenant Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, while Lititz Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
