Soccer Game Preview: Pensacola vs. Booker T. Washington

Pensacola is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to Pensacola Catholic. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington faced Gulf Breeze in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Booker T. Washington narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Gulf Breeze 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

They hit Gulf Breeze with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evan McManus, Landon Rhymer, and Felipe Lawall.

Pensacola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Booker T. Washington, they pushed their record up to 11-0-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Pensacola suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Booker T. Washington in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. Can Pensacola avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
