Soccer Game Preview: Crescenta Valley vs. Burroughs

Crescenta Valley is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Burroughs Bears at 3:45 p.m. Crescenta Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Crescenta Valley fell victim to Royal and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Burroughs was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Pasadena could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Burroughs' draw gives them a new season record of 1-4-1. As for Crescenta Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1.
