Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 57-31 to the Lincoln Lions. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the loss, Mt. Pleasant still got an impressive performance from Snowe DeLeon, who posted 17 points. That was a full 54.8% of Mt. Pleasant's points, marking the sixth time in a row DeLeon has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Mt. Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-23 defeat against Del Mar on the 11th. As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 41-22 loss against Live Oak on the 10th.
