Softball Recap: Montrose Comes Up Short

Montrose fell victim to Ponderosa and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 13-0 to the Mustangs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Red Hawks, who until this game were averaging 3.35 runs allowed.

This is the second loss in a row for Montrose and nudges their season record down to 15-8. As for Ponderosa, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-12.

As of now, neither Montrose nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
