Soccer Recap: California Takes a Loss

California lost against Amador Valley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The California Grizzlies lost 3-0 to the Amador Valley Dons. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 282nd, while the Dons are ranked 78th).

California has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-4 record this season. As for Amador Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Looking ahead, California will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Dublin at 6:30 p.m. Dublin's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Amador Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
