Softball Recap: Jefferson Starts Season with Win Against Woodward Academy

Jefferson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Woodward Academy War Eagles a 12-0 shutout.

Reagan Hays was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Rapp, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Jefferson will have a chance to go back-to-back against Woodward Academy: the pair will be back at it again later today.
