Recap: Eden Christian Academy vs. South Side Rams
Eden Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 54-44 win over South Side. Winning may never get old, but Eden Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Hope Haring was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with five steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ella D'Ippolito, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Eden Christian Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for South Side, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Eden Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Winchester Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Side will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Brighton at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
