Soccer Recap: Valencia Takes a Loss

Valencia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Chaparral Lobos. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Valencia struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Shawn Mankins, who's now up to four this season.

Valencia's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Chaparral, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Valencia wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Belen on the 7th. As for Chaparral, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Deming on the 7th.
