The Spartans will welcome the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. South Caldwell has given up an average of 42.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Caldwell's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Watauga on Friday. They were beaten by the Pioneers 56-0. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Spartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Freedom beat St. Stephens 28-21 on Friday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Freedom's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for South Caldwell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
