Basketball Recap: Chino Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Chino extended their road winning streak to ten games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Tess Oldenburg. The Chino Cowboys simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Don Lugo Conquistadores 64-18 thanks in part to Oldenburg, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Chino has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Don Lugo, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chino will head out to face off against Montclair at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Chino is facing Montclair at the right time seeing as Montclair is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Don Lugo, they are taking a road trip to take on Diamond Ranch at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
