Basketball Recap: Emily Morris Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Casa Roble

There's no place like home for Dixon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the Casa Roble Rams 55-36 on Thursday. Dixon hasn't had any issues with Casa Roble recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dixon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Morris, who posted six points along with ten assists and seven steals. The dominant performance gave Morris a new career-high in assists. Alina Munoz was another key player, going 8-for-12 on her way to 16 points and four steals.

Morris wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Dixon was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Dixon pushed their record up to 10-17 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Casa Roble, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Dixon nor Casa Roble have any future games scheduled.
