Basketball Recap: Oakland Tech Piles Up the Points Against Skyline

Oakland Tech waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Skyline Titans , posting a 69-38 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Oakland Tech to victory were Jhai Johnson and Terri'A Russell. Johnson posted 27 points, while Russell had 19 points. The game was Johnson's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kailee Clark, who scored eight points.

Oakland Tech's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 49 points. As for Skyline, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9.

Oakland Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-11 victory against McClymonds on the 7th. Skyline has also already played their next contest (against Fremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
