Baseball Recap: Ladysmith Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ladysmith's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Ashland Oredockers on Tuesday. The loss leaves the Lumberjacks still looking for their first win of the season.

Ladysmith saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash LaBrie, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Ladysmith's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Ashland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Ladysmith wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against Cameron on the 8th. As for Ashland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-2 defeat against Northwestern on the 7th.
