Basketball Recap: Medora Extends Winning Streak to Four

Medora extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jaxon Nugen. The Medora Hornets breezed by the Columbus Christian Crusaders to the tune of 76-35 on Saturday thanks in part to Nugen, who went 9 of 17 en route to 29 points and four steals. Those 29 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Wright, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Medora is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.7 points per game. As for Columbus Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Medora will take on West Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus Christian, they will face off against Pleasant View Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
