Football Game Recap: Sartell-St. Stephen vs. St. Cloud Tech

St. Cloud Tech were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They made easy work of Sartell-St. Stephen on Friday and carried off a 43-20 victory. St. Cloud Tech have a history of success against Sartell-St. Stephen, winning their last head-to-head 42-0.

The game started off well for St. Cloud Tech, whose offense put up 30 first-half points. Sartell-St. Stephen put up 14, so the score was 30-14 at the half. The St. Cloud Tech defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 6 and all but finishing the game. The win bumped St. Cloud Tech's record up to 4-0. Sartell-St. Stephen are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Next week St. Cloud Tech take on Alexandria at 7:00 PM. St. Cloud Tech will be strutting in after a victory while Alexandria will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they will face off against Sauk Rapids-Rice. Sartell-St. Stephen stagger into the matchup hobbled by five consecutive losses while Sauk Rapids-Rice skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
