Hemet had won six straight games and Ruby Lindsey did her part to make it seven on Wednesday. The Hemet Bulldogs walked away with a 57-44 victory over the Orange Vista Coyotes thanks in part to Lindsey, who posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. Those eight boards gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Gonzalez- Horta, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last eight games she's played.

Hemet has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.1 points per game. As for Orange Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hemet beat Orange Vista by a score of 51-31 on Thursday.
