Basketball Game Preview: Madison Warhawks vs. Christian Patriots

The Madison Warhawks will head out to square off against the Christian Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Madison is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Crawford on Friday. They took a 36-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts.

Meanwhile, Christian came tearing into Friday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Pointers 65-14. With the Patriots ahead 41-3 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Christian's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Madison, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Madison was taken down by Christian 65-21 when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Christian's Leah Speers, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 steals.
