Softball Recap: Frederick Comes Up Short

Frederick and Holy Family squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Frederick had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-4. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Frederick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Stromberg, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Holy Family, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4.

Frederick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Family, they have already played their next game, a 4-2 win against Palmer Ridge on the 25th.
