Softball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee fell victim to Tahlequah and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Tigers. That makes it the first time this season the Wolves have let down their home crowd.

Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Tahlequah, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Shawnee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-2 defeat against Coweta on the 9th. As for Tahlequah, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-10 victory against Owasso on the 9th.
