Baseball Recap: McEachern Comes Up Short

McEachern lost against Harrison on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. McEachern came up short against Harrison, falling 7-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McEachern got a good showing from Josiah Hatchett, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Hatchett has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, McEachern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyce Williams, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

McEachern's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Harrison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Looking ahead, McEachern will be playing at home against Campbell at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison, they will square off against North Cobb at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.
