Football Game Preview: Central Christian Cougars vs. Victoria Knights + Official Tickets

The Central Christian Cougars will challenge the Victoria Knights on Friday. One thing working in Central Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

Central Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Logan/Palco, posting a 56-0 win. The Cougars' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last three matchups.

Piercen Huff was his usual excellent self, rushing for 100 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries, while also picking up 40 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending two passes. Calvin Barnett was another key player, picking up 76 receiving yards and two scores.

Central Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Luke Eigsti picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Victoria strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dighton 64-14. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven contests by 46 points or more so far this season.

Victoria's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Central Christian, their win bumped their record up to an identical 10-0.

Central Christian was taken down by Victoria 70-28 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
