Wesleyan waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lambert Longhorns a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since August 28th.

Wesleyan's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Lambert, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, Wesleyan will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Buford at 5:00 p.m. As for Lambert, they will square off against South Forsyth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The War Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
