Hayesville won the last time they faced Andrews, and Mallory Peck did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hayesville Yellowjackets walked away with a 46-34 victory over the Andrews Wildcats on Friday thanks in part to Peck, who went 6 of 8 en route to 13 points and eight boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Bryleigh Krieger, who posted five points in addition to 11 rebounds and three steals. Hayesville is 3-1 when Krieger posts ten or more boards, but 8-9 otherwise.

Hayesville now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Andrews, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Hayesville will have a chance to keep the ball rolling against Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday following yesterday's win. As for Andrews, they will take on Swain County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
