Softball Recap: Wellston Triumphs

While Wellston's victory against Fletcher wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Wildcats 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since September 12th.

The victory got Wellston back to even at 13-13. As for Fletcher, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Wellston didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Okarche on the 26th. Fletcher does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
