Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Swainsboro). Everything went their way against the Montgomery County Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 19-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Swainsboro's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Montgomery County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swainsboro will host Georgia School for Innovation & Classics at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery County, they will face off against Wilcox County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
