Softball Game Preview: Clark County Indians vs. Canton Tigers

The Clark County Indians will head out to face off against the Canton Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Clark County came up short against Highland on Thursday, falling 15-4. The Indians have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Chloe Shatley made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, Canton lost 9-3 to Community on Saturday.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Clark County, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went Clark County's way against Canton in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Clark County made off with a 7-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
