Softball Game Preview: Christian Heritage Lions vs. Gordon Lee Trojans

Christian Heritage is 0-10 against Gordon Lee since September of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Lions will host the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Christian Heritage's last matchup with Dade County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Lions lost 8-0 to the Wolverines. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Gordon Lee faced LaFayette in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Trojans came up short against the Ramblers, falling 6-0. The Trojans were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Ramblers' pitchers proved too tough.

Gordon Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Christian Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
