Basketball Recap: Carbondale Area Comes Up Short

Carbondale Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Lake-Lehman Knights 51-20. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 642nd, while the Knights are ranked 155th).

Carbondale Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lake-Lehman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Carbondale Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake-Lehman, they will host Holy Redeemer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
