Softball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 9-4 to the Arvada Bulldogs. The Commanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Genesis Lujan made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Kimora Davidson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14-1. As for Arvada, their record is now 17-5.

As of now, neither Kennedy nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
