Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jeff Davis). Everything went their way against the Brantley County Herons on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jeff Davis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Brantley County, they moved to 8-20 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jeff Davis beat the Herons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.
