It was a good run, but Bermudian Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the York Catholic Fighting Irish. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 49th).

Bermudian Springs' loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for York Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Bermudian Springs will square off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for York Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 69-55 win against Berks Catholic on the 25th.
