Soccer Recap: Sherman Oaks CES Takes a Loss

Sherman Oaks CES was the 5-1 winner over Vaughn when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sherman Oaks CES Knights fell just short of the Vaughn White Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Sherman Oaks CES's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Vaughn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing East Valley the next time they take the pitch. Vaughn will host East Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Sherman Oaks CES will host them at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
