After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christian Collegiate Academy, East Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the St. Patrick Fighting Irish with a 54-48 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-48 last Thursday.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for St. Patrick, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, East Central will host Greene County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Patrick, they will head out to square off against Moss Point at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Fighting Irish will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
