Basketball Recap: Inglewood Takes a Loss

Inglewood lost against Leuzinger back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Inglewood Sentinels were dealt a 63-36 loss at the hands of the Leuzinger Olympians. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tatyana Aubry was her usual excellent self, putting up 30 points along with five assists and three steals for Leuzinger. Leuzinger is 3-1 when Aubry posts 20 or more points, but 9-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Naijah Nelson, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Inglewood's record now sits at 4-12. As for Leuzinger, they moved to 12-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inglewood will take on Lawndale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lawndale will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Inglewood surely won't give up without a fight. Leuzinger has already played their next matchup (against Hawthorne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
