Oakland Tech came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 77-41 win over the McNair Eagles. That looming 77-41 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Jhai Johnson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 42 points. Another player making a difference was Terri'A Russell, who posted 22 points.

Loss or not, McNair got some senior leadership from Malia Do and Kalysa Phanhsavang. Do dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Phanhsavang put up 14 points and three steals. That was a full 34.1% of McNair's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Oakland Tech's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for McNair, they moved to 4-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Oakland Tech and Mater Dei will round out the year against one another at on December 27th. McNair will take on Cordova in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. McNair is facing Cordova at the right time seeing as Cordova is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
