Recap: Conemaugh Township Indians vs. Northern Cambria Colts
The Conemaugh Township Indians had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past Northern Cambria 44-12 at home. Conemaugh Township's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Jenna Brenneman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Byer, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Conemaugh Township's victory bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Northern Cambria, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Conemaugh Township will face off against Conemaugh Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Northern Cambria will be home for the holidays to greet United at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
