Poquoson got themselves on the board against New Kent on Thursday, but New Kent never followed suit. They strolled past the Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 14-0. The Islanders haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Poquoson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for New Kent, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
