Volleyball Recap: Lowell Wins Going Away Against Merrillville

Lowell had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Merrillville on Wednesday. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Devils yet this season.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-17.

Emily Aguilar paced Lowell's offense, picking up six kills. Aguilar got some help from Josie Laub and her 13 assists. Dafne Aguilar-Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.
