Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Riordan vs. South San Francisco

The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders will head out on the road to challenge the South San Francisco Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Archbishop Riordan is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fightin' Irish.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, South San Francisco made sure to put some goals up on the board against El Camino on Saturday. They never let the Colts onto the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three contests by seven goals or more so far this season.

Archbishop Riordan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for South San Francisco, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
