Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Vikings vs. Franklin Learning Center Bobcats

The Northeast Vikings and the Franklin Learning Center Bobcats will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.

Northeast is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Frankford on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Northeast had to suffer through a 51-13 loss at the hands of Frankford. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 544th, while the Pioneers are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, Franklin Learning Center waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 34-28 victory over Nueva Esperanza.

This is the second loss in a row for Northeast and nudges their season record down to 2-12. As for Franklin Learning Center, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
