League recap: Barnes Academy's league-best two wins lead to standings climb

Barnes Academy had a successful week, as it won two total games to lead the league. Barnes Academy beat Covenant Christian Academy 14-3.

Killian Hill Christian's Samuel Winston was the best pitcher in GCAA - North A this week. He racked up nine strike outs this week.

The Cougars boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

Four batters hit over .400 this week. Leading the pack was Sebastian Thomas, who hit .667 by going 4-for-6.

Cody Frye drove in four runners as Barnes Academy defeated the Rams 14-3 on Tuesday. He went 3-for-3 and scored two runs.
