Soccer Game Preview: Kell vs. Centennial

Kell hasn't had much luck against Centennial recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Kell Longhorns will head out on the road to challenge the Centennial Knights at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Kell is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Westminster, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Centennial fought the good fight in their overtime match against Blessed Trinity on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 2-0 to the Titans.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Kell, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Kell might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Centennial in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Kell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
