Soccer Recap: Willow Glen Wins Going Away Against Independence

After failing to score in their last game, Willow Glen made sure to put some goals up on the board against Independence on Tuesday. They blew past the Independence 76ers 4-0. The score was close at the half, but the Rams pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit Independence with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sydney Zaelit, Betzy Flores, Sierra Wilser, and Emmalee Frederick.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5-3. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willow Glen will head out to face off against Gunderson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Independence, they will head out on the road to challenge Prospect at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
