Montour won the last time they faced Ambridge and Brandon Bennett did his part to make sure it happened again. The Spartans claimed a resounding 55-21 win over the Bridgers thanks in part to Bennett, who rushed for 125 yards and one score on only eight carries, and also threw for 85 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Another player making a difference was Caden Halajcio, who rushed for 57 yards and two TDs. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending three passes.

Montour's record now sits at 5-3. As for Ambridge, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
