Pennsylvania High School Football - Montour wallops Ambridge
October 10, 2025: McKees Rocks, PA 15136 The Montour Spartans football team scored 55 points and held the visiting Ambridge Bridgers to 21 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway challenge, on Friday, October 17. Montour will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Quips enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 34-17 league win over Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA).
The Bridgers (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against New Castle (New Castle, PA). The Hurricanes enter the WPIAL AAAA Parkway challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, New Castle was ripped by West Allegheny (Imperial, PA), 24-14, in a league challenge.
