Pennsylvania High School Football - Aliquippa thwarted by Montour
October 17, 2025: Aliquippa, PA 15001 Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA), 34-20 in a league battle.
With the win, Montour improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA) to meet the Indians in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway test on Friday, October 24. The Indians come into the test with a record of 4-4. West Allegheny won 40-10 in their recent league test against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA)
With the defeat, Aliquippa drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Quips travel to Ambridge (Ambridge, PA) to meet the Bridgers in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway test on Friday, October 24. The Bridgers come into the test with a record of 1-8. Ambridge lost 56-7 in their recent league test against New Castle (New Castle, PA)
