Basketball Recap: Mesquite Wildcats vs. Highland Hawks

Mesquite had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-2 to make it six. They were outmatched by the Highland Hawks and fell 83-36. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mesquite lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Taj Deloney Taj Deloney, who posted nine points. Braden Miller was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.
